Shipping & Ordering Policy

NON-LIVE SALE ORDERING POLICY
  1. Orders will be prepared after all payments have cleared and may take 3 days to process. Payments received after 12 pm EST on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, will ship on the the upcoming Monday. Payments received on Saturday and Sunday, orders will be ship on Tuesday of the upcoming week
  2. Customers are responsible for providing a reliable and accurate shipping address for delivery. Please ensure you verify the address in your order confirmation. Refunds will not be issued for orders where UPS OR PUROLATOR had determined the location to be unsafe to leave the package.
  3. Exotic Aquarium World is not responsible for misplaced, lost or stolen packages during the time of transit. Under ALL circumstances  UPS OR PUROLATOR is responsible. We will ensure we do our best to assist customers regarding missing packages.
  4. Exotic Aquarium World has no control over delays of packages in the shipping process. Customers are encouraged to contact  UPS OR PUROLATOR customer service to track orders and answer questions regarding shipping times. We will do our best to assist all customers with obtaining transit information of your order.
  5. All claims will be thoroughly reviewed on case by case basis. Claims can take up to 3 weeks to process. During this time, your patience is greatly appreciated as we work with the shipping carrier(s). Once  UPS OR PUROLATOR responds to your claim, we will be able to take further actions to remedy the mishap. Filing a claim does not guarantee  UPS OR PUROLATOR will compensate or reimburse you, full or in part, for your lost or stolen package. We will do our best to assist you through the process.
  6. You agree not to charge back a completed order without first making a valid effort to work with us to resolve the issue.
LIVE SALE ORDERING POLICY
  1. Available stock for all live goods found on eaworld.ca are NOT tracked. As a result, the inventory will show as out of stock.This does not mean that your livestock selection will be unavailable. With the exception of our NEW ARRIVALS page, the majority of in store stock is not updated on a frequent basis. Any product listed as available on eaworld.ca should be considered accurate. Upon a customers successful completion of our purchase checkout method, any orders a the order will follow our shipping policy , and customers are bound by the terms of service listed on eaworld.ca Any orders containing live goods of any kind are subject to MAXIMUM 24 HOUR PROCESSING PERIOD to allow for accurate and safe delivery of the livestock in Question . This is to allow us to confirm that your livestock choices are in fact available and if not , provide Exotic Aquarium World with a suitable time frame to ensure each product has been included in our next inventory shipment or that proper measures can be taken to adjust and refund the order 
  2. Customers who have yet to have their payment verified or in situations where Exotic Aquarium World has yet to receive Payment will have their Orders suspended until payment arrangements have been made or confirmation is received. At which point the waiting period will begin and NOT before.

SHIPPING
***SHIPPING IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN CANADA***

  1. Orders will be shipped to the address given by by customer at checkout Exotic Aquarium World DOES NOT ship to P.O. Boxes
  2. Exotic Aquarium World WILL NOT refund orders that were given insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid address. NO REFUNDS on shipping costs for any reason.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING AND HANDLING RATES
  • Flat Rate Shipping to Quebec is $40. Orders over $450 qualify for free overnight shipping.
  • Flat Rate Shipping to Ontario is $35. Orders over $350 qualify for free overnight shipping.
  • $60 Flat Rate Shipping to Alberta, Yukon, Nunavut, Prince Edward . Orders over $450 qualify for free overnight shipping.
  • $50 Flat Rate Shipping to Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan. Orders over $450 qualify for free overnight shipping.

OVERSIZED,HEAVY OR OTHERWISE LARGE PRODUCTS 

* The vast majority of products and livestock we fullfill for delivery do not require additional delivery fees and consistently remain locked at our flate rate shipping price ( as defined by the destination location )

However,  our catalogue contains several items that require we charge additional fees and/or nessistate the need for unique transportation methods. These items include but are not limited to, Products such as rocks, substrate ,salt mixes and Aquariums and generally have a total weight of 20lbs or more,  and/or maintain a shape and size any larger than our largest flat rate shipping container.

In these scenarios , we have instituted separate shipping rates. These rates and the respective costs associated are listed below.

HEAVY ITEMS

Alberta, Yukon, Nunavut, Prince Edward

-Express ( 1 to 2 buisiness days ) - $120
Orders over $2000 recieve free express shipping
-Standard ( 9 buisiness days ) - $60
Orders over $1000 recieve free standard shipping

Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan

-Express ( 1 to 2 buisiness days ) - $100
Orders over $2000 recieve free express shipping
-Standard ( 9 buisiness days ) - $50
Orders over $1000 recieve free standard shipping

Ontario

Express ( 1 to 2 buisiness days ) - $70

LARGE ITEMS

Large items , such as Red Sea Reefer AIO Setups , are unique products and require additional care to ensure they are delivered to customers safely and effectively.  As such, products listed as LARGE ITEMS , upon the order being completed and payment recieved they will remain in a constant UNFULLFILLED state. 

Exotic aquarium world provides shipping options for these items however due to the nature of these types of products , we ask customers to contact our retail store directly after they have finished checking out . Primarily we ask that you contact our staff via telephone directly to speak with us regarding the specifics of your delivery.

Should you be unable to et in touch with a member of our staff or fail to contact us via telephone,  we ask that you contact us via email or reach out using social networking like facebook or instagram.

Pricing and turnaround times as well as ,which carrier can be selected for delivery cannot be found in any documentation within this policy or elsewhere on eaworld.ca as these pieces of information are unique and will vary from customer to customer.
